Aries Capital Partners – a fast growing private equity firm seeking financial controller.
FINANCIAL CONTROLLER (COAL MINING)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review timely and accurate management reports and tax fillings for all Aries entities
- Prepare quarterly reporting of relevant Aries entities for distribution to investors
- Manage quarterly and annual budget preparation, updates, enforcement and monitoring, including ongoing expense monitoring and compliance
- Ensure the compliance of local accepted auditing and accounting standards
- Establish and review internal controls and business processes for enhancement and development
- Plan, organize, present and interpret timely financial statements, financial reports, special analysis and other relevant information for management decision-making purposes
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors and tax agents
- Support other special projects on an ad-hoc basis
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Accountancy or Finance (CPA or equivalent) and a current member of the relevant institute of Accounting
- Must have audit background with the top ten accounting firms
- Minimum of 5 years experience in similar capacity
- Previous private equity experience a strong advantage
- Previous experience of setting up or developing a Finance Department and providing financial control across a group of companies would be beneficial
- Strong proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both spoken and written
- Able to work under pressure and produce quality work within deadlines
- Mature, pro-active, detail-oriented with good interpersonal and administrative skills
- A team player
