The completion Services division of Superior Energy Services, operating in Indonesia under PT. Hallin Marine Indonesia, is currently interviewing for the following positions to support operations in Balikpapan:
Job Title: Tools Specialist I, II, III
SUMMARY
Inspect and provides recommendations and analysis on tools and equipment needed for customer projects. Assist project departments as needed in performance of daily activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES
- Pre-planning tools job
- Supervising tool job on customer locations
- Installing downhole equipment in customers’ well
- Single and multi-zone gravel pack complations
- Deep water completions
- Frac Pack and HRWP Pack gravel pack completions
- Packer retrieval completions
- Documentation of final equipment placement and serial numbers for treacibility, field invoicing and equipment logistics.
- Maintaining a safe working environment for are of responsibility
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High School or Equivalent Required. A minimum of 3-7 years related experience and/or training, preferably in the oil and gas industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE
- Proficiency requirements desired
- Offshore rig mechanics and layout
- Downhole principles
- Excel and AcadLt computer skill
- Sand control techniques and formulas
- Frac Pack and HRWP gravel pack completions
- Packer retreival completions
- Pre-job invoice and load out and delivery record
- Post job QA/QC documentation
- Current practices and technology used in the oil and gas industry
- Knowledge, competency and experience in related field
- Knowledge relating to completion services procedures and processes
- Current practices, equipment, materials and supplies used in the completion tools business
- Ethical business practices
SKILLS
- Good verbal and written communication in English, analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Building and maintaining positive relation customerships, internal or external
- Operating various office equipment: personal computer, copy machine, fax machine and telephone system
